Yuzo iwata TOUR
Lisbon is Portugal’s coastal capital, and former sunny home to the now Berlin-based audio-visual artist Bruno Santos, aka Cleymoore. You might of thought all the bright skies and vitamin D would be trickling into Bruno’s work, but that wouldn’t be entirely true.
Father of the ever-growing artist collective and record-label Pluie/Noir, an imprint focused on audio-visual collaborations under his artistic curation, Cleymoore has a very peculiar vision about music and how it should be experienced. Over the last 4 years Pluie/Noir released 70 audio-visual podcasts, 2 cassettes and 9 vinyl-only releases that showcase world-wide talents from young names such as Vlad Caia or Volkan Akin, to veterans by the likes of Petre Inspirescu or Fumiya Tanaka.
Cleymoore’s behavior behind the decks and his own musical material does indeed contain a smidge of the feel good stuff, except its wedged between micro housey madness, dynamic experimentalism and mind meddling arrangements, and this might well be the result of his daily submersion in the worlds of audio-visual arts. Mind house, perhaps? With a steadily growing catalog of vinyl releases and upcoming EPs on his own imprints Pluie/Noir and Klangstudie, as well as other record-labels he respects and admires, his career is moving towards a very promising future.
In between music making and graphic designing, he’s been actively dj’ing around the globe performing in clubs & festivals such as Concrete, Rex, Air Tokyo, Club der Visionaere, Closer, Waha Festival or Piknic Electronik, to name a few.
Yuzo Iwata aka Fabio Lazaro is an electronic music DJ and producer from Japan. Combining machine grooves reduced to the necessary minimum with a fine acid-inspired track selection, Fabio carefully grasps the mood of the scene while delivering a deep and mind-expanding club experience.
Fabio is originally from Saitama in Japan, born to a Cuban mother and Japanese father. He began his early career in the midst of Tokyo-based party crew KonAir as regular DJ playing several gigs on a monthly basis. He moved to Sapporo (Hokkaido, North Japan) in 2011, where he started to host a series of parties named FLOPPY in the legendary venue Precious Hall – with not only himself on the turntables but inviting guests such as Nicolas Lutz, Jan Krueger, Fred P, Moodman, DJ Masda and KABUTO – identifying Fabio as valuable and passionate organizer and DJ in Sapporo’s music scene.
Throughout the years, Fabio played regularly at major events throughout Japan, such as renowned underground parties Future Terror run by DJ Nobu, FLOWER CAMP, experimental RURAL, to just name a few. In 2016, he moved to Berlin where he regularly plays at various parties centered around Club der Visionaere. In recent years, Fabio has also become known as promising producer – some of his latest tracks are to be soon vinyl released on Japanese independent label Gabriella (distributed by EFD) and Portugal-based label Pluie/Noir.
